Jane Scovell is the author of collaborative autobiographies with, among others, Elizabeth Taylor, Maureen Stapleton, Ginger Rogers, Marilyn Horne, Kitty Dukakis, QVC host, Kathy Levine, and Tim Conway, She has also written biographies of Oona O’Neill Chaplin and Samuel Ramey. Her books Elizabeth Takes OffIt’s Better To LaughNow You KnowTim Conway, What’s So Funny?and Oona, Living in the Shadows were on the New York Times and Los Angeles Times best-seller lists. Her articles have appeared in the Boston Globe, the Sunday New York Times and the New York Times Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Travel and Leisure, and Opera News. She is currently at work on a dramatization of A Hell of a Life,based on her book with Maureen Stapleton.
